HGTV Magazine Feature on JCampbell Wallpaper Sheets!

Even a home editor can struggle to put up newspaper… And yes, I’m talking about myself. It always ends up looking SO cute, but hours of peeling, cutting and lining up prints can get exhausting. I recently discovered a new type. That’s a total game changer. Let’s just say after seeing this, I will be wallpapering EVERYTHING. Keep scrolling to find out more about my new obsession.

Last week I met with Julie Campbell, the designer behind JCampbell.Design, a new removable wallpaper brand that’s made for DIY’ers. Unlike traditional peel and stick where you peel the paper off like a sticker, this paper is less flimsy and therefore easier to apply. Just submerge it in a tray of water to activate the paste and stick to the wall.

Here’s what makes it even more genius: the pattern of each 13” x 19” wallpaper sheet is designed and printed so it lines both vertically and horizontally. You don’t have to worry about matching the repeat when adding a new sheet.

Take it from me, because when I met with Julie, I got to try installing the wallpaper on a board–and I couldn’t believe how seamless (& fast!) the process was. In just seconds, the sheets were perfectly aligned and secured to the board with no bumps or creases. I could really get used to this!

“I love empowering people to decorate their home – it should be an enjoyable, fulfilling process, without any intimidation or frustration, “says Julie. Whether you’re a newbie who’s never tackled installing wallpaper or you’re an old pro, I totally recommend trying one of these papers. It’s practically mistake proof!
There’s a range of patterns from floral to faux brick, but I think the coolest ones are inspired by the backgrounds of impressionist paintings.
